Khadi Lavender Body Wash: Personal care products are too personal and every one of us has set different criteria for them. For example, I like my personal care products to be effective, but they should smell good too. The calming fragrance of lavender is one of my preferred choices for skincare and deodorizers. Whenever I find a budget-friendly product that says ‘Lavender’ in it, you will certainly find it in my cart! I am going to share my experience with Khadi Natural Lavender & Ylang Ylang Herbal Body Wash. I have used two of their body washes earlier so this is officially my third purchase from Khadi’s Body Wash range. Check out the review to know more about this body wash.

My Experience with Khadi Natural Lavender & Ylang Ylang Herbal Body Wash
Packaging- This body wash comes in a cylindrical shaped see-through plastic bottle. It has a 2-in-1 screw open cum flip-open lid. The lid of my bottle was not that much secure. It had a plastic stopper at the opening of the bottle. I removed that and kept the outer cap on. My bottle started leaking as soon as it was tilted. I have to keep my bottle sealed all the time to prevent wastage and mess.
Colour & Texture- The body wash is a translucent gel of blue-violet color. Texture wise it is more similar to a shower gel rather than a body wash. Its consistency is thick. It spreads well and creates medium lather. It is not too creamy wash but not drying either. It gets rinsed easily without making the skin super dry.
Fragrance- It has a light lavender smell to it. The smell is very soothing yet I cannot say the fragrance is herbal. The fragrance is not very long staying. As soon as you are out of the shower, the fragrance is nowhere to be found.
Experience- Lavenders calming and healing nature is known to all. This body washes promises something like that in the claims section but I did not notice any such thing. This is a good quality affordable body wash. It cleanses my skin well and helps to get rid of the dullness of my skin. It creates enough lather without loofa but with loofa, the exfoliation is better. It gives me soft and smooth skin. The softness lasts up to a week if I am being regular with my body moisturizer. This body wash is not over-drying but it is best to follow it up with a body lotion; for this cold season, the body lotion is a must. Performance wise it is a decent buy for me but its artificial fragrance is a bit disappointing. I do enjoy the fragrance but I miss the real lavender fragrance!

I like the name ylang ylang…And great review. And the pictures are love.
I also like Ylang Ylang. I think Ylang Ylang plant’s flower is used to make the essential oils used in skin care. This has south-east asian origin..
