Khadi Sandalwood Face Pack Review

Khadi Sandalwood Face Pack :Sandalwood has been used in Hindu rituals, body spas for calming effects, in face packs and what not. Chandan is supposed to do your skin a world of good and is sold for its claims of brightening the complexion and making you look like one of those girls in the commercials with flawless skin. This Khadi Sandalwood Herbal Face Pack  I bought on one of my shopping sprees khadi especially because I love how sandalwood smells- it has such a calming effect on me!

My Experience With Khadi Sandalwood Face Pack

Packaging- The product comes in a metal tub with a metal top which closes securely. The contents are further sealed in a plastic resealable pack.

Texture and Consistency – The face pack is in a powder form which can be mixed with water, rose water or milk as desired to obtain the consistency you like. The pack mixes nicely and there is no lump formation while mixing.

Fragrance- The pack has a strong sandalwood fragrance that I absolutely love. I sometimes just take off the cap and sniff it because I absolutely adore the scent and it has a calming effect on me.

Experience- The pack spreads evenly on the skin and mixes easily with water and milk too. But here is the thing it stings! Like some of the other face packs from Khadi, this too stings. Though the degree of the burning sensation is not that much and is bearable. But then again that, not something very nice! There was no redness or rashes observed on the dace after removing this face pack. However, if I talk about what this pack does for your skin then let me be honest you wouldn’t like going for this variant as it pretty much does nothing special for your skin. No glow! No radiance! Nothing! I just felt my skin was smooth and refreshed after using it. Skin looked fresh and oil free but then that’s it. Ok. Bye.

I now just use it as it makes me feel calm when I put it on my face and smell all the lovely sandalwood fragrance.

Sandalwood is great for acne marks but needs consistency. I would personally say use the pure sandalwood bar which you can rub on the stone and get the sandalwood paste. It is amazing. Btw, honest review girl!
