Lakme Beige Post Lipstick: Heyya guys! I am back with a loveeelyy shade of lipstick, brought to your from Lakme 9 to 5 range, that is, the beige post. This is a very good shade and I know most of them who like orange-pink color are likely to buy this one after going through this review.
Price- Rs. 400/-
Staying power- four to five hours and after that, touch-up would be required.
My experience with Lakme Beige Post Lipstick
Lipsticks are numerous in any cosmetic company. Sometimes the swatches are not enough to tell which color would suit best on us. Thus, sometimes, they need to be applied to know the perfect shade.
This lipstick has a glossy shimmer finish but looks matte from a farther distance. I can say that this lipstick is a good shade which comes for a party-wear and formal look, both. There is no boldness in the color it gives. It is just simple and soft.
Overall performance of Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Beige Post
Lakme versions of 9 to 5 lipsticks reflect their idea of confirming to customers about the staying power of the lipstick, from 9 to 5, that is around eight hours. But this is not completely true as I observed that these lipsticks rarely last for about six hours without touch up.
Except for that, after touch up also, there is no change in the color of your lips. The shade is very natural and dies not give artificial look to your lips.
It is a perfect suit to whichever shade foundation you apply and also that it feels very light and weightless on lips. Moreover, has a longer shelf life. I am sure we wouldn’t be using the same lipstick shade every day, and in this case, this lipstick is worth that price.
You can also use this regularly.
- High moisturizing effect
- Smooth and creamy in texture
- Shimmery finish
- Nice natural shade
- Great pigmentation
- Less staying power
- Dries out lips on vanishing
Whatever the cosmetic companies may promise, putting on lipstick has some plus as well as minus points. While lipsticks give your lips that shade you want them to be, it is also to be remembered that these are artificial agents. The ingredients used in the lipstick manufacture are also not no natural. These chemicals may also make your lips look darker sometimes and flush out the original color on your lips. When this happens, you will have to put on lipstick every time to hide the tanned lips color.
Thus, I also recommend the use of an antiseptic cream be applied to your lips before you go to sleep. This will retain moisture on your lips. Else, a foundation of Vaseline should be there on your lips before you put on any lipstick so that those chemicals do not affect your lips directly.
Though there are so many ifs and buts, our love for lipsticks doesn’t become less. I recommend the use of this lipstick. Not a must buy, but not bad either!
