Bonjour,
This is the first lipstick I will be reviewing from my M·A·C Lipstick collection i.e. MAC Girl About Town Amplified Crème Lipstick. This lipstick is a Bright blue fuchsia, I love this bold color, as it suits Indian skin tones because our skin is on the yellow undertone and I am on the dusky side so bright and bold colors suit my skin.

My Experience with Gi MAC Girl About Town Amplified Crème Lipstick
Girl About Town Amplified by M·A·C is a deep-toned hot pink, which suits my skin. It brightens my whole complexion up and gives a fresh look after application. The color is really amplified and bold, perfect for night outs.
The texture is so creamy and smooth as it just glides and it even hydrates the lips after application. The vanilla essence the lipstick has really delighted me. It lasts for approximately 4-5 hours, which is very average according to me. It also tends to get smudged, due to the creamy texture it has and is even transferable.
The process before lipstick application I follow is by exfoliating then moisturizing, using a lip balm. While applying my base I apply the concealer on my lips so that the true color of the lipstick comes out. I always use a lip liner to define my lips and also fill it in for a long-lasting effect. I usually use different colors of lip liners and lipsticks as a combination to create the desired shade.
Pros:
- Creamy texture
- Glossy finish
- Moisturizing
- Good Pigmentation
- Even Application
- Amazing Shade for Indian skin tone
- Travel Friendly
Cons:
- Expensive
- Transferable
- Smudges
- Average staying power
Would I repurchase?
It’s a beautiful color, but the staying power etc is average. Take your call 🙂
Oh Yeah! MAC Girl About Town Dupes 😉

It looks like a perfect blue toned fuschia. I would have loved it more if it had a bit warmth to it. But it’s a nice colour to have.
