HOW TO USE
With makeup, especially eye shadow, the chances of playing are innumerable. As the name suggests, the palette is inspired from the graffiti art of New York. The colors are vibrant and you can create endless looks using it. Use the light mauve shade on the entire eye area and blend it well. Using a darker shade on your crease and corner of the eyes, create depth. Next, add a light shimmer shade to get the pop of color and Voila! You’re ready to go.

Packaging
The plastic case comes in a chic cardboard package. The small sized palette is ideal for carrying in your purse and creating looks on the go. The cardboard package has graffiti designs on it which look very stylish. The palette comes with a small dual ended applicator. One side has a sponge; the other side can be used as a brush.
Color and Texture
There are 6 shades in this palette- 3 mattes and 3 shimmers. As mentioned earlier, the colors are inspired by New York’s graffiti art and hence they are vibrant. There are shades of blue and violet with a highlighting color, which complement each other very well. They have a smooth texture and blend in very well.
Fragrance
There is no significant fragrance.
Experience
The Maybelline City Mini Palettes are inspired from various aspects of the New York City. Currently in India, there are four palettes to choose from. I am a makeup enthusiast and always up for experimenting. The Graffiti Pop palette was perfect for me as it has shades ideal for creating what I wanted- an eye popping look. The muted violet shade can also be worn for an everyday look, with a touch of the darker purple color. So it worked both ways for me. The colors blend really well and the shimmery shades are smooth too. The only problem is the small amount of fallout it has, but that is manageable considering the awesomeness of this palette. The brush side of the applicator is not too useful, though it comes really handy when you’re out and want to apply this eye shadow. It also stayed on my eyelids for an entire evening. This is an amazing investment for people who love to play with colors.
