My Experience with Maybelline Mat 1 Lipstick

The packaging is very pretty and girly. The cap is of neon pink color and the inner part is of silver color giving it a glamorous look.

Mat 1 is a neon pink shade. The color is very beautiful, like that of pure neon pink. A similar neon pink shade is not available in any other brand given the same quality and price. Though the product says MATTE bit the lipstick is not MATTE. It has a creamy texture which is very easy to apply. It glides on your lips easily. It nourishes your lips giving them a semi-matte look but it is not sticky at the same time.

It stays on for approximately 5 hours, without food. But even when the color is fading a little color still remains as a natural stain on the lips. To make it last longer you can use a lip liner in the nude shade beneath the lipstick. The only downside is that I think this color will not suit dusky skinned beauties and those with a yellow toned skin tone. The reason is very simple; it is a blue toned pink. So it will perfectly complement cool skin tones.
