How To Use

Apply your Maybelline lip balm by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

 

My Experience With Maybelline New York Baby Lips Color Balm Cherry Kiss

The packaging-the lip balm comes in a pink bullet with a tight sealable cap that doesn’t come off in your purse. The bullet itself has the name of the variant and the baby lips logo.

Texture and Consistency- The lip balm has a nice balmy texture that is waxy enough for locking in the moisture without feeling heavy on the lips.

Fragrance- The lip balm has a very mild cherry fragrance that is light and lovely when it hits your nostrils.

Experience- The lip balm baby lips cherry kiss is supposed to be a lip balm that is tinted and gives you a color payoff along with moisturization. However, if you have lips that are slightly pigmented then you would need a good couple of swipes to make the color show. On the other hand, the result would be a lot less visible on heavy pigmented lips. The color payoff is really mild and all it gives is a slight hint of warm pink tint which I think is perfect for a lip balm because it makes your lips look pink and at the same time look utterly natural.

The lip balm doesn’t bleed and stays in line for me which is another pro point as I don’t like wax all over my face. The moisturization factor is pretty good and it stays on the lips for a good 3-4 hours in terms of moisturization but you can feel it fading in 2 hours time. Even after fading the lips feel moisturized for another 2 hours.

If I put it on before sleeping then I still have it on my lips when I wake up to moisturized and plump lips.

Yes, I would recommend this to people who are looking for a good lip balm at an affordable price. The color pays off is great to be worn every day to college or office too and is coupled with moisturization.

However, I would try the other variants and not repurchase this one.
