My Experience with the Maybelline Perpetual Peony (005) and Infinitely Fuchsia (160)
These lipsticks are an ideal pick for a matte lipstick junkie like me. And I am happy with the product. These lipsticks have a pleasant fruity/floral fragrance. These lipsticks do live up to the brands claim and have not disappointed me. They stay in place for a long duration of hours and are super stay lipsticks in comparison to other brand but certainly not for 14hrs long!
The two shades that I have are:
Perpetual Peony (005):
This is another shade which is within the tone of pink but this more of a pastel pink shade. I am not a lover of pastel shades but I thought this was worth trying and the shade is good and lasting power is similar to the above-mentioned shade.
But however I personally didn’t really love the color of the shade but if you are one who loves pastel shades then you must give it a try because the lipstick is definitely good! Also, pastels have been getting a lot of attention this season. So you can try this shade if you are looking for a matte finish and long-lasting lipstick in pastel pink shade.
Infinitely fuchsia (160):
This shade is pink in color, one of my favorite. This shade is so summery and vibrant and rich. This shade would be my ideal pick for day scenes and since it a fuchsia pink you can flaunt it with your party wear dresses even during the night. This gives me a smudge-free and creaseless look to my lips. And stay in place for a good 6-7 hours.
My favorite amongst these two is infinitely fuchsia as I don’t really like light/pastel shade colors, but if you are looking for one product that’s long-lasting, and absolutely a matte finish product then you can surely check this range and find a color of your choice.
