Sensitive skin alert? No.
Key ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Niacinamide 5%, Sodium Hyaluronate.
How to use: Apply 2-3 drops after cleansing. Wait for a minute before applying the next serum. When layering multiple products, always use Niacinamide first.
Disclaimer: Consult your dermatologist before using this, if you are undergoing any skin treatment. Since this serum contains active ingredients, do a patch test at least 48 hours before use. My Experience with Minimalist Niacinamide 5% + Hyaluronic Acid 1%

Fragrance: The serum is fragrance-free.
My experience: After spending thousands of rupees on expensive skincare products, I came across the minimalist_ range of products. I have been using this serum religiously for the last 2 months, and I can definitely see a difference in my skin. My skin feels a lot smoother, and less greasy and my acne blemishes have faded. My skin has never looked so bright or clear! However, I have been using this serum with other minimalist_ products. So, I’m not sure how well this serum will work on its own. If you have never used actives or acids on your skin, you can start with 5% Niacinamide, as the 10% one may cause purging. Overall, I love this serum!
Pros:
- Fragrance-free.
- Paraben-free.
- Suitable for all skin types.
- Helps clear blemishes.
- Smoothens skin texture.
- Controls sebum to some extent.
Cons:
Can’t think of any!
Would I repurchase or recommend it?
This serum is an important part of my skincare routine and I will continue using it. However, next time I would try the 10% one. I would recommend this to anybody with oily, acne-prone skin.
My rating: 4.5/5
