We all spend loads of money on makeup, especially those that have a good staying power and don’t break out the skin and much more. But how about loose powders that help in keeping the makeup intact? My experience with Oriflame Loose Powder
Packaging
The packaging is travel-friendly. It has a black cap and a transparent body. Upon opening the cap, there is a stopper that has tiny openings from which the product can be obtained by lightly tapping the bottom of the container
Texture
It has a soft, powdery, easy to apply texture that can be easily buffed on the face with the help of a fluffy blush brush
How to use
Open the cap to reveal the stopper. Lightly tap the container which will allow the product to come out of the tiny openings in the stopper.
Fragrance
It smells like medicines and a mixture of loads of chemicals.
My experience with Oriflame Studio Artist Loose Powder Translucent
I purchased this from a friend who is an Oriflame consultant. Also, I got this product on offer. I have seen many videos where the make up artist, after using foundation and other things, dusts a loose powder on the face. The reason to do this is to lock the makeup on the face and keep it intact. Also, this helps to avoid melting of the makeup during hot summers and extreme weather conditions. It does contain many chemicals but this product is suitable for people with sensitive skin and acne prone skin. I usually apply my foundation, blush, and highlighter and dab this loose powder with the help of a blush brush. I apply it under my eyes, between the brows, forehead, and nose. This also helps the highlighter color pop out.In all, this is a fine product which is a little expensive. The best part is it doesn’t make the face look ghostly whitish and stays for a good 4 to 5 hours without transfer or smudging.
Pros
- Can be used by people who have sensitive skin
- Travel-friendly packaging
- Help keep make up intact
- Doesn’t make face oily
- No transfer
- No smudging
- Doesn’t clog pores and doesn’t cause breakouts
- Doesn’t leave behind a whitish layer
Cons
- Kind of pricey
- Stays for around 4 to 5 hours
Would I repurchase or recommend?
I definitely would recommend this to people who want their make up to stay long without melting or smudging. This loose powder keeps the makeup intact I will repurchase other range of loose powder from Oriflame.
Rating: 4/5
Glossypolish verdict: the Oriflame studio artist loose powder is an apt choice if you want to set your makeup without making it look overly done. It doesn’t leave a whitish layer but locks the makeup so that it doesn’t melt in the sun. Glossypolish recommends this product.
