Uff ! This hot weather outside. Simply making us feel tired all day long and badly affecting our health. This hot weather makes us look dull and tired. Our skin gets tan and hides our glow. Today I am reviewing the product which could be helpful during such days. I am writing about VLCC Glow + sunscreen lotion. Let’s see what all it has got!

What is it?

It is a sunscreen lotion with SPF 20 and PA++ which helps in protecting the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.As it is Glow +, so the brand claims that it adds a glow to the skin. It contains sandalwood extract which creates the soothing cooling sensation that is useful in treating Conditions like eczema, acne, sunburn, and rashes. It is paraben free formulation. Suitable for all skin types.

Price – Rs. 200 for 100 ml.

Shelf life – 36 months from the day of manufacturing.

My Experience With VLCC Glow + Sunscreen Lotion

Packaging – It comes in a tube of white color which has a yellow colored label in it. The logo is on the front side and every detail or description regarding the product is given on the back side. The lid is of orange color and it closes tightly. It does not open up without pressure that’s why making it leak proof

Texture – As it is sunscreen lotion, it is definitely thick in consistency. Quite smooth in nature and is cream in color somehow resembling the color of sandalwood.

Fragrance – It smells very strong. It has its very pleasant smell of sandalwood. Its smell lasts for quite a long time

My experience – I am using this product for quite a few weeks, and I noticed that it is effective in protecting my face from unwanted and harmful UV rays, as I have not noticed any tanning or sunburn. But its application is quite greasy; I kept on perspiring a lot the whole day. Instead of getting any glow I used to feel very dull and heavy. I have an oily face so its application makes it oilier. It’s very good for people with dry skin, but a great no for the one with oily skin.

Overall experience with VLCC Glow + Sunscreen Lotion

Pros –

• Paraben-free
• Protects skin from both UVA and UVB rays
• Smells very nice
• Easily available

Cons –

• Too greasy for the skin
• Gives dull look to the skin
• Low SPF
• Not suitable for oily skin

Would I repurchase or recommend?

I definitely will not repurchase it as I have oily skin and it ends in making it more oily and greasy.  It is the very useful product for the ones with dry skin as its results are highly effective. If you have dry skin, then please give this product a try.
