VLCC Tulsi Acne Clear Face Wash Review 2

Price- Rs.199 for 150ml

My Experience with VLCC Tulsi Acne Clear Face Wash

Packaging-

This face wash comes in a see-through squeeze tube. The tube has a plastic flip cap. The packaging is quite sturdy and spill-proof but being a 190ml tube it is bulky. I don’t know if the cap can keep itself okay if this weighty tube falls from my washroom shelf! The packaging looks nice with its cute label graphics showing tulsi leaves. The back of the pack is loaded with detailed information and ingredient list which helps to know about the product.

Colour & Texture-

The face cleanser is a light green gel with tiny green and yellow beads in it. The beads are scanty in an amount so they do not actually do any scrubbing but they dissolve as I massage the wash into my skin. The face wash is not a foaming one though it has a milder compound of sulfate in it. It produces just enough froth to cleanse the skin. It gets removed easily and doesn’t dry out my skin.

Fragrance-

This face wash has a unique tulsi and mint fragrance. The fragrance is not very strong and does not linger after it is washed off. The fragrance reminds me of the freshly extracted juice of tulsi leaf. I am not into the fragrance but I am getting used to it.

Experience-

As I mentioned before, I am not fond of the fragrance this face wash has but still, I am using this face wash because it actually worked on my pimples! Texture wise this is a basic gel face wash with low foaming capacity. It cleanses my skin well; in fact, it gives squeaky clean skin. It does not dry out my combination skin but during these winter months, I have to use a moisturizer after it to keep my skin moist. Although it is said to work for ‘all skin types’, dry skin people should follow it up with a generous dose of moisturization. This face wash gives my skin a nice tingling sensation that in turn freshens up my tired skin. The tingle stays until the face wash is removed. This paraben-free wash has been able to prevent acne breakouts and helps to heal the existing acne faster.
