My experience with the Ben Nye Lumiere Metallic Eye Shadow Bronze

Packaging

The packaging of this refill is typical. Like most refills, this one too comes in a magnetic pan that is placed in a plastic casing. I think brands should play around a little with refill packaging just to add a fun element.

Texture

The texture of the bronze eyeshadow is soft and buttery, I love it. The buttery feel makes it move very smoothly on to the eyelids.

Shade

So, when I started doing makeup professionally, I didn’t have too many eyeshadows. This was one of the shades that I had and I was very scared to play with color initially. So I’d use up the bronze on almost every one, it was my favorite shade. It’s a lovely golden bronze shade. If you look at the image of the pan, you will be able to tell how much I love it.

Pigmentation

I love the pigmentation of this…it is super strong. Just a small amount is needed to cover the eyelids. And it’s buildable.

Staying Power

Like most Ben Nye eyeshadows, this one too stays on very well. It lasts for long hours without creasing. I’ve even used this on brides.

Affordability

Now for a brand like Ben Nye, I think INR 400 is very reasonable. For the quality that the brand provides, I think it’s great.

Suitability

This is a warm bronze and suits almost all skin tones. Except for very cool toned skin tones. This shade though looks gorgeous on the dusky skin.
