My Experience with Biotique Peach It Lip Balm
Packaging
Just how basic bullet lip balms are packed, just the screw cap is a point of difference. It’s not too sturdy like the Maybelline ones. But it’s not flimsy either! So you can risk traveling with it. Though the product I received had a broken bullet. Sadly, the girl in the counter refused to return and accept they’re faulty. So here I go with a not so broken heart, but a broken bullet. ? ?
Fragrance
Mild vanilla fragrance is something that I rave for. It’s like a drug I want to sniff every second after applying. Though it ain’t loud enough to stay for hours.
Shade and texture
Peach is my loved shade when it comes to lip balms, I am not really a Brown, Grape or Pink lover (reminds me of Lakme lip love collection). It’s moist, medium-thick and non-sticky in texture. Spreads like butter and feels light on the lips. It does not feels oily at all or makes you feel like something is dripping off your lips. It has got just the right kind of consistency.
My experience
Well, one the best lip balm I have tried. I can’t really vouch for its SPF’s efficacy. Or on its lip lightning claim. Maybe with time, it can have a minimal impact. But hey, even due to drying lips get little dark. Maybe it just works on that part. As it’s absolutely Moisturizing and keeps lips soft and supple for 8 hours. You might need to apply it twice or thrice a day. My lips don’t get really dry. But I was getting fine lines a lot. Matte lipstick effect you see. So it’s better to start using something nourishing beneath it. And it even took care of that part. My lips didn’t feel stretchy or dry. I wear this every day while heading for classes. A little tint and moisture is what works best on a daily basis.
