My Experience with Dabur Amla Hair Oil
Packaging:
It comes in a greenish plastic bottle which is Easy to handle with a leakage-free bottle.
Effectiveness:
As you all might be oiling your hair twice a week religiously. I have been using Dabur Amla hair oil for over a month now after been totally attached to coconut oil since childhood. This oil is best for brown or black hair. It is not something for blonde hair because it can darken it in a greenish, brown way.
Honestly, I wouldn’t repurchase it. It contains mineral oil which actually leaves a layer of build-up and I try to avoid that.
Pros
- Contains Amla
- Does darken hair
- Affordable
- Easy availability
- Less sticky
- Gets washed off easily
Cons
- Smell is a bit too strong
- The light smell stays on even after washing off
- Contains mineral oil
Would I recommend/ repurchase?
Nope!
Rating:2/5

mineral oil is the criminal here. loved your review Puneeta… very honest review :rose: :love
My grandmom uses this oil !!!! And she loves it because it contains amla as its ingredient , but I completely agree that mineral oil is playing a damn negative role ..
Great review puneeta :rose: :love
A dud then.
Also I’m not a big fan of strong smelling oils.
Nicely and honestly penned! :haanji
Yeah you are right. The smell is overpowering and it also has mineral oil..
Loved to read your honest opinion.. :rose:
Amla oils generally work for my extremely dry skin and it worked too. but it is not one of those light oils.
