My experience with the Miss Claire Eye shadow 0457
Packaging
The packaging of the Miss Claire Single Eye shadows is very standard. It comes in a black round casing with a transparent lid that allows you to see the exact shade of the product.
Texture
There’s something about the texture of this one. I often find myself playing with it as it feels really good. Its got an extremely smooth texture that feels butter like between the fingers.
Shade
It’s a beautiful shade of blue that has hints of gold sparkle in it. The sparkle is very subtle which makes it look lovely.
Pigmentation
Most Miss Claire Eye shadows have quite a strong pigment to it. It just requires one swipe with the brush and you’re fine. And it’s super buildable too.
Staying Power
Now, this is what I wasn’t very impressed with. One hour after application, I found that it was just fading off. And that’s not acceptable when that some to an eye shadow…you don’t want to end up with an uneven application after a few hours.
My experience
So personally, I’m not very happy with this particular shade and I’ll explain why. I was really looking forward to finding a nice light shade of blue but unfortunately, it doesn’t suit my skin tone, unless used with a mix of other shades. And another thing is that, when I tested it, it faded off quite fast. And obviously that’s not what I want, I want it to stay in place for at least a few hours.
Overall experience with the Miss Claire Eye Shadow 0457
Pros
- Shade
- Decent packaging
- Strong pigment
- Smooth texture
Cons
- It doesn’t last too long. After a few hours, it fades off.
Would I repurchase & recommend?
No. While it has a lot of pros, the only con is the spoiler. Because no one wants an eye shadow that doesn’t stay in place.
