My Experience With Nivea Oil In Lotion Cocoa Nourish
The name of the lotion suggests as if it has cocoa fragrance, however, the lotion smells less of cocoa and more of coconut. it rather has a sweet smell to it which can be a bit overpowering if you aren’t into sweet smells. I mean I might skip this if I have a headache otherwise the scent is welcomed!
The fragrance stays on for quite some time on the skin.
The lotion comes in a sturdy plastic bottle which has a flip top which closes really nicely – I love hearing that click sound when the cap is safely in place. The bottle maybe dark blue in color or white depending on the size of the bottle that you have picked. The one that I have here is the lovely blue one. Its travel-friendly owing to its small size and also the cap shuts properly and requires some effort to open up.
TEXTURE AND CONSISTENCY-
Nivea body lotion is more on the runny side and is creamy milky white in color. The lotion is specially designed for very dry skin however it isn’t at all oily even though its name had me under the impression that the lotion might be a bit oily. It’s rather like a water-based lotion- the one that’s quickly absorbed and doesn’t leave behind any greasy feeling.
So I have been using this lotion for 2 weeks now in a row and I think I’m eligible enough to give an opinion by this time. The lotion is runny and spreads nicely all over. You just need a coin sized amount to cover both your hands and rest you can imagine how little it takes to spread over a large area. The lotion is possibly one of the best that I have used because it does not have any kind of *chip* feeling that some of the lotions leave behind. The formula though designed for very dry skin is fast absorbing and lightweight in feel. The lotion does not even require much hard work. Just slather some on and rub for a brief moment and within a minute or two the thing is completely absorbed and Voila! it’s gone! No traces of oil or heavy layer on your skin.
Now if I come to the results part, my skin feels like a dream with this body lotion. all the dryness and cracks are gone and my skin feels really moisturized and supple. It’s great for use even in daytime or summers due to its lightweight formula. Even my knees and elbows look better which are possibly the most dehydrated areas of one’s body.
