Wet n Wild MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter Halo Goodbye

Price – Rs. 675 for 15 ml
How to use –

This cruelty-free liquid highlighter comes with a Doe foot (also known as deer’s hoof) applicator which makes the application way more easy and precise. One can directly use this doe foot applicator to make tiny dots on the high points of their face and blend the product using a beauty blender or a highlighter brush. As it is a liquid highlighter it can easily be mixed along with the foundation to give an instant glow to the face.

Sensitive skin alert –

It is always recommended to check the ingredient list and go for a patch test before using a product.  For a person like me who has a sensitive skin and has to be quite careful regarding the products used, this highlighter works wonders. Moreover, Wet n Wild claims to infuse the goodness of Murumuru seed butter, Grapeseed oil and Vitamin E along with its other ingredients to help provide a silk smooth finish.

My experience with Wet n Wild MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter Halo Goodbye

Packaging-

The product comes in a glass bottle which makes the overall packaging look very high end and luxurious. Being packed in a glass bottle it is also prone to breaking or cracking incase it is dropped on a hard floor. It becomes easy to detect the shade of the highlighter as the bottle is transparent.  The product when purchased comes sealed in a plastic wrapper which contains the ingredient list amongst other information.  The product is tightly secured with a screwed in cap and so there is no fear of leakage. The doe foot applicator makes it quite travel friendly.  It also has the name of the shade printed at the bottom. Thus it is safe to say that the packaging gets a big thumbs up !

Shade and texture –

Wet n wild hello halo liquid highlighters come in 6 to 7 different shades but sadly only 3 shades are available in India. These are – Halo, Goodbye ; Halo, Gorgeous and Guilded Glow. The shade reviewed here is Halo, GoodbyeHalo, Goodbye is a light pink shade. The shimmer present in the product has a pearl finish which gives a radiant and dewy look.  One has to be quite quick to blend the product as it dries up fast. As mentioned before, the texture of the product is buttery smooth making it easy to apply.

Pigmentation –

The pigmentation of the shade is subtle and can be built up easy. The impact of the highlight can be increased with two to three applications. Thus, this product can be used to sport a soft dewy finish to a full impact blinding highlight.

Fragrance –

The product has a chemical like smell though when applied the smell doesn’t linger at all. People who like their products to have a beautiful fragrance should make a pass for this product. But for people who don’t really care the fragrance aspect, this product will be a big hit!

Experience –

For me this product is a Holy Grail product. Ever since I started using this, I have never looked back.  This blends in perfectly and stays on for good 6 to 7 hours. As highlighters have a con of making the pores appear larger one should always use a good pore covering primer underneath. Many consider this as the dupe of CoverFx highlighters and when compared, Wet n Wild does absolute justice to both the claims and the price of this product. For many, highlighters are the best part of one’s makeup routine and keeping this fact in mind it is safe to say that this product stands out with a perfect 10/10!
