My experience with the Ben Nye Lumiere Metallic Eye Shadow Silver

Packaging

The packaging of this refill is typical. Like most refills, this one too comes in a magnetic pan that is placed in a plastic casing. I think brands should play around a little with refill packaging just to add a fun element.

Texture

The texture of the bronze eyeshadow is soft and buttery, I love it. The buttery feel makes it move very smoothly on to the eyelids.

Pigmentation

I love the pigmentation of this. It is really nice and super strong. Just a small amount is needed to cover the eyelids. And the best thing…it’s buildable.

Staying Power

Like most Ben Nye eyeshadows, this one too stays on very well. It lasts for long hours without creasing. I’ve used this for photo shoots…And it has worked quite well.

Affordability

INR 400 is very reasonable for a good brand like Ben Nye. It provides good quality.

Suitability

I think silver shades look better on cool skin tones. If someone with a warm skin tone wears it, it may not look so nice.

Shade

Like the name says, it’s a shimmery shade of silver. This is probably the only shade of silver that I use.

What do I not like?

1. Doesn’t suit all skin tones.

Yes, I would. It’s of good quality, affordable and all…so if it’s a shade that works for you, I’d say go ahead.
