My Experience With Biotique Bio Almond Overnight Lip Therapy

Packaging- The product can be obtained in two sizes one is the 5gm lip balm stick and one is the 12gm tub. The one that I will be talking about today is in the tub form. The tub is really small and cute to carry around but definitely unhygienic as it means you have to dip your finger in the balm to extract some out.

Texture and Consistency- The balm is pretty thick and has the thick vaseline texture. The surprising thing is it is filled with golden sparkles that shimmer and shine on the application. Other than that the lip balm is smooth but you will feel the friction from the sparkle particles.

Fragrance- The balm claims to be an almond lip balm but then again it smells completely opposite- it smells like one of those ointments you would use if you had a headache! only the smell is faint not as strong as a balm smells.

Experience- I’m not easily pleased with lip balms and I really believe in inspecting a lip balm before saying anything about it. This one has been a downright disappointment! well to start with it has no staying power on the lips. It hardly stays there for a half n hour or so and then wears off completely. The balm also smells funny and it won’t give you a pleasant whiff now and then, in fact, you will get that moov smell! This is not why I bought this lip balm (to smell moov all the time). The third thing which is extremely weird is the golden glitter. The product does not have any gold or gold particles so where is the glitter coming from ?? looks like it’s completely artificial glitter and why put it in the lip balm. I don’t like my lips looking all weird and golden with shining particles in it.

Now if I talk about the results it moisturises my lips only to some extent and I have seen many average lip balms out there doing a much decent job. No biggie there!

Definitely not! this has been a waste of money. I have been trying to use it all up but it feels super thick on lips and disappears in an hour maximum. Also, the golden colour is a put-off!
