So, recently I have switched to Korean skincare routine and I can clearly see the difference, The basic key of this regime is to keep your skin moisturized and plump. Be it your hands, under eye or face. Sheet masks/face masks are the soul of Korean skincare, and today I will be reviewing  The Face Shop Mask Tea Tree. Read on to know how this fared me.

Usage

Unfold the mask and carefully place it on your freshly cleansed face. avoiding the eye and mouth contours.

Remove after 10-12 minutes and tap gently on the skin until the serum is completely absorbed.

Scoop out the extra serum in the pouch and gently pat on your entire face( neck and ears as well).

Let the serum seep in. And tada you are done.

My experience with The Face Shop Tea Tree Mask

Packaging

This comes in matt, plastic well-secured packaging, which has metallic feels on the inside, all the essential info is mentioned on the back. So, incase if you want to check the ingredient list or usage, just flip the packet chicas. I love the fact that this is super hygienic and travel-friendly. You simply need to cut the packet from the indicated mark to get the sheet out. (Yes its that easy peezy.)

Fragrance

This has strong tea tree and citrus fragrance (so obvious). For me fragrance wise this wasn’t soothing. It bugged me whenever I tried sniffing it, after a while the fragrance started fading away, it lingers around 2-3 hours, So if you already are someone who has hard time with fragrant products, then think twice before getting this one.

My experience

Having a combination skin means pores are a concern. Now if you have dry to combination skin then lady you are blessed. But that’s not my case so tea tree is a life saver. It tightens Pores, has anti septic, anti-inflammatory properties and reduces sebum production . I really like how this mask immediately brought down my skin temperature. It felt so soothing and relaxing. For getting maximum benefit I double cleansed my skin, and also steamed pre exfoliating, and ended up with the sheet mask and also went on to patting extra essence in the pouch. It definitely helped with tightening my pores , and added that extra glow and vigour to my skin. so efficacy wise this one is fairly decent. Just the fragrance was not pleasing and way too strong for my not so sensitive nose. If you have a sensitive nose. Then think twice before getting this one in your stack.

1. The fragrance is bit strong (but that’s a personal preference, you can be totally loving it as well)

Will I recommend/repurchase?

I will recommend this one only to those who are not allergic to strong fragrances if you have oily and pimple prone skin then this one is a great pick for you. Having said that, I would repurchase other variants from face shop. So not really going for this one.
