Farsali Rose Gold Elixir: Hello all my makeup junkies!I think by now all are aware of this product…it is all over YouTube and everywhere on the internet. It needs no introduction. Everyone is going crazy about this beauty oil. I am not a big fan of face oils….iv never used them but seeing the popularity of this one I was much attracted to buy it. So I purchased it and today I will be reviewing it for you.

   Developed in the USA, by a team of cosmetic scientists, this beauty oil is an effective lightweight moisturizer with added anti-aging benefits (for all skin types). Use the Rose Gold Elixir as a daily moisturizer, to keep your skin healthy and hydrated. The pure 24k Gold flakes absorb right into your skin, leaving your skin glowing and naturally radiant. The base of this luxurious Elixir is Rosehip seed oil. Rosehip seed is made up of 77% fatty acids. High in linoleic and linolenic acids, vitamin C, and vitamin A (retinol); all essential for skin health. Rosehips have been found to regenerate tissue and reduce the appearance of fine lines, hyper pigmentation, and stretch marks.

Start by dotting your foundation onto your skin first, then apply 1-2 drops on a damp beauty sponge (or brush) to blend in your foundation for a glowing finish. For those with dry under eyes (or requiring extra hydration), you can also use with concealer and contour. First apply concealer under eyes, followed by the cream contour. My experience with Farsali Rose Gold Elixir

The more I was excited using this product the more I was disappointed this one.

I first used it with my foundation. Applied foundation on my face, took three drops of gold elixir on my beauty blender and started blending my foundation. The foundation started slipping off the face. Somehow I managed to blend effectively. The way they show it on YouTube and Instagram it was not as effective. After one or two hours my face started looking dull. I tried two three times but every time the same result. Then I stopped using it with foundation. Then the time I thought of using it as a normal day moisturizer until that time the product started smelling bad and some white residue started accumulating on the neck of the bottle. I am not sure if the product expired or I did not store it properly, whatever the reason but the product started smelling bad after 3-4 uses.

The texture is smooth on application and blends easily. Its light weight and gets absorbed by the skin quickly.

It smells good…citrusy. The gold particles make the product look luxurious.

Packaging is good luxurious. Easy to use dropper cap lets you have control over the amount of product you use.

Though I have mostly seen people praising it and all makeup artists on Instagram are using it in their everyday makeup routine but personally, this product did not work well for me.

Overall Performance of Farsali Rose Gold Elixir

Positives:

1. Made from only 6 ingredients. Simple formula.
2. Packaging good
3. Smells good
4. Easy to use

Negatives:

1. Expensive
2. Not for all skin type. I think it works well for dry skins. Not sure though
3. Not available easily

Would I recommend and repurchase it?

No, I will not recommend and repurchase the product.
