Joy Intense Nourishing Skin Cream: The second thing I can’t do without is Moisturising first has to be cleansing. And That keeps me experimenting with the kind of skin care products I use, Joy is one such brand which has the super affordable range of skincare, Be it their scrubs or body lotion. Recently I got my hands on Joy Cream: Cocoa Rich Intense Nourishing. Let’s see how this fared me.

My experience with Joy Intense Nourishing Skin Cream
Packaging
It comes in a huge plastic tub packaging of cocoa brown color with a peel-off foil. To me, it feels like one brother of basic Nivea cream. I am not a big fan of tub packaging it’s definitely unhygienic and so not travel-friendly.
Fragrance
It has mild cocoa and shea butter fragrance. Which totally love. I personally prefer my lip and body butter to have mild soothing fragrance.
Texture
This has a thick creamy texture, which Glides on perfectly, and gives a dewy finish after applying, specifically on my T zone this felt little sticky for quite a while.
My experience
I got this cream when I was in an instant need of Moisturising my hands, dried out hands makes me cranky. ( super weird kid). ? I have used this one in every way possible as a face, hand, and foot cream. It gave me breakouts after a few application this definitely clogs my pores. It kept my skin moisturized in winters for good 6-7 hours. As a hand cream this leaves fingerprints everywhere, (Not cool) the only way you can use is for Moisturising feet and hands at night.
This also has a long list of chemicals and paraben. So refrain using it on your face.
Pros
- Nourishes for long hours
- Good quantity delivered
- Smells soothing
- Works well as hand and foot cream
- Affordable
Cons
- Unhygienic tub packaging
- Not travel-friendly
- Doesn’t lives up to its claim of 24hr nourishment
- Contains chemicals
- Clogs pores
Will I recommend or repurchase this product?
Nope, not recommending or repurchasing it. You definitely can give it a skip. A long list of the chemical will do more harm than good. But in case if you already have it in your stack use it as a feet cream in the night and put your socks on.
