A product sponsored by Glossypolish: So, if you’ve read my previous post…you obviously know that I represented Glossy Polish at a Kiehl’s event that took place at Inorbit Mall, Malad. The event was to create awareness about some of the products. Post the event, we were given little goody bags (Yayyy). One of the products was a sample sized Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish. And when I saw it, I was super excited. I’ve always had an issue with ingrowth on my legs and so I need to exfoliate regularly, which I don’t. So when I got this, I couldn’t wait to try it and see how it works.Let’s see if Kiehl’s Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish is the Best Body Exfoliator!

Honey
Honey is the nectar produced in flowers and then collected and stored by bees. It is composed of a variety of sugars, wax, and other substances, including citric, malic, formic, and lactic acids; beta carotene; enzymes; amino acids and vitamins. It is used as an emollient in skin care and creates a watertight film, allowing the skin to rehydrate itself. Moisturizing, softening, sweet and fragrant.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba Oil is extracted from the beanlike seeds of the desert shrub Simondsia Chinensis and has been traditionally used by both Mexicans and Native Americans for skin care purpose. It reduces transepidermal water loss without completely blocking the transportation of water vapor and gasses, providing suppleness and softness. It is nurturing for the skin and helps to restore skin’s natural lipid barrier.
Shea Butter
Shea Butter is the natural fat obtained from the fruit of the African Karate tree and is widely used in lotions and cleansing products for its hydrating properties. Protects skin from dehydration, restores skin’s suppleness and improves the appearance of dry skin.
My experience with the Kiehl’s Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish
The product comes in a white and yellow tube with all the details printed it on it. The packaging is very simple. The opening of the tube is very functional and dispenses just the right amount of product, which is great as you can control the amount of product you want to take out. The consistency of the cream is thick but spreads onto the skin like butter. Literally. It has fine granules which are not at all harsh on the skin. Massaging the product into the skin is very easy. It has a coconut fragrance to it, which I’m not a fan of..but since its a really light scent, its okay. The body polish feels extremely moisturizing due to the shea butter and sweet almond oil present in it. Once it is washed off the skin, I can’t tell you how good my legs feel. It is a moisturized and feels extremely soft, almost like baby skin. And who doesn’t want that!!! I can’t really tell right now if it will work well for my ingrowth but it seems like a promising product and I’m going to continue using it to see how well it works for me. In terms of pricing, it is a little expensive. But, like I said, I think this product can work wonders.
