Orange is one of my favorite fruits. This amazing fruit has plenty of Vitamin B, C, and minerals like calcium and potassium. This fruit is not only beneficial for our overall health but also for our skin and hair. Orange is an excellent tan remover and orange oil is a great ingredient for wrinkle-prone mature skin. My today’s review is a face wash that has orange oil as the main ingredient; it is VLCC Orange Oil Pore Cleansing Face Wash. I have very acne prone skin and most of the time I get acne from clogged pores. That is why I like to use face cleansers and toners that provide some pore cleansing action. Read on to know how this cleanser works.

My Experience with VLCC Orange Oil Wash
Packaging- This face wash comes in a half translucent and half transparent plastic tube. The squeeze tube has a transparent flip cap to dispense the product inside. The packaging is completely leakage-proof but not that travel-friendly. It is a big tube that is going to last a while. Informative details are all mentioned on the back of the pack. You will find the claims, usage directions and complete ingredient list.
Colour & Texture- This is a gel based face wash. Its consistency is medium; neither too runny nor too thick. It has light orange color to its transparent gel formula. Some tiny orange and off-white beads are present in this face wash. These scrubbing particles are increasing the aesthetic value of this face wash but those beads are not enough for even a gentle scrubbing action.
Fragrance- This face wash smells like a fresh orange peel. The fragrance does not have any orange candy fragrance to it which I often find in orange based products. The fragrance does not linger long so it would not feel uncomfortable even if you do not like the smell.
Experience- This paraben-free facial cleanser works nicely on my oily-to-combination skin. It is a gentle face wash that produces just enough foam for getting rid of superficial impurities like excess oil and dirt. It gives squeaky clean skin. I never faced uncomfortable stretchiness after using this face wash but I still follow it up with my moisturizer. But looking at the formula I can easily tell, this face wash might make dry skin drier. Since dry skin face pore blocking issues rarely, they can certainly skip this cleanser. I often get tiny bumps of clogged pores on my face (generally on forehead and chin). If I am particular to use this face wash 2 times a day, within 2-3 days those bumps go away. So, this thing certainly does what it says. In addition to the pore cleansing, this face wash also gives a nice tingling sensation when it is on my face. The tingle freshens up my dull and tired skin. This face wash is going to be my summer retreat for sure!
