Packaging

So this is a refill eye shadow, so it has a standard packaging. The product comes with a round metal pan that has a magnetic base. It is placed in a plastic cover with details like shade and price mentioned on it. So nothing fancy about the packaging

Shade

I usually like playing around with color, so this shade, I like. It’s a lovely purple that can be used to play around with your eye shadow and it will work for all skin tones.

Pigmentation

So although the shade is beautiful, the pigmentation isn’t as impressive. Since it’s a big brand like Ben Nye, I expected it to be much better. The good thing though, is that it’s buildable.

Texture

The thing with Ben Nye eye shadows is that it’s very smooth and butter like. So it blends out very easily and you can barely tell that there’s a product on your lids.

Application

Because of its smooth texture, it applies easily and blends well too. It glides onto the lids with no problem at all.

My experience

I like all things bright and beautiful. I don’t enjoy doing the base basic bronze and gold eyes, I love playing with color. So every time I get a chance, I will use a fun shade. And this is one of my favourites go-to colors. It looks lovely and adds a pop of fun to the look.

Cons

Not a very strong pigmentation

Would I repurchase & recommend?

Yes, I would. Even though I’m not extremely happy with the pigmentation. If i do come across a better product in the same shade, then I’ll reconsider.
