Gomukhasana or cow face pose is a yoga asana. It is a seated, hip opener type of asana. It includes stretching the muscles of thorax, arms, axilla, shoulders, hips, thighs and ankles.

How to perform Gomukhasana
- Sit on the ground with back straight.
- Stretch your legs in front of you.
- Now slowly bend your left leg at the level of your knee, and place it under your right buttock.
- Repeat it with the right leg and place it under your left buttock by folding it at the knee.
- Now stack your right knee at the top of your left knee.
- Fold your left arm at your elbow and place it behind your back.
- Try to reach for your left hand with your right hand by taking your right arm over your right shoulder.
- Now while keeping your trunk erect try to lean a little backward.
- Maintain this pose as long as you.
- Get back to the original position once you are done.
