My experience with Maybelline Candy Wow Lip Balm in Cinnamon Bun

Packaging:

It has a colour coded twist up crayon packaging. Although I find the tube to be too big compared to the amount of lip balm in it.

Fragrance:

It does have some fragrance but it goes away quickly.

Experience:

I love tinted lip balms for days my lips can’t stand lipsticks. It hides chapped lips so well.

The shade Cinnamon Bun is a peachy nude shade which might wash out deeper skin tones. It may not heal dry lips nor does it moisturises very well but the colour pay off is very good. Two swipes is enough. It is not long lasting and would wipe off if you eat or drink. But even without eating or drinking it won’t last for more than two hours. Now since this is a nude shade it wipes off completely without giving a stain but deeper shades do leave a stain.

What I like about this lip balm:

1. Excellent colour pay off
2. Convenient travel friendly packaging
3. Availability
4. Gives a nice stain ( Not this shade)
5. Lots of colours to choose from
6. Glides on smoothly

What I dislike about this lip balm:

1. Expensive ( 2gm gets over quickly)
2. Does not last long
3. This shade is only suitable for fair to medium skin tones
4. Won’t heal dry lips

Will I repurchase?

This is expensive but I love this shade and will buy it again.
