Dear Garnier Fructis, I believe there is some amazing ‘long & strong’ connection between you and me. 😉
Hello, beautiful readers. Today I am going to review my only trustable serum for my long & strong hair, by Garnier. I adore Garnier products so much since I was a kid. Their products do what they claim. Whenever I get tensed with hair problems, I immediately switch towards Garnier. It has become a kind of routine now.
So, lately, what happened was, my hair got super frizzy and dry with split-ends popping out of nowhere. To the extent that I decided to cut my long hair; which as you all know requires a lot of courage. Instead, I dropped that idea and decided to buy this serum by Garnier Fructis.
Let us see how trustworthy this product is.

My experience with Garnier Fructis Strengthening Serum
My hair is habitual of shampoos by Garnier Fructis. After my hair highlights became one year old, the tips of my hair became a little frizzy with split ends. No amount of shampoo and conditioners helped the situation. What started happening was constant Hairfall? So, I bought this serum after giving a chance to much celebrated Livon Serum which was of no use.
Fragrance: It has a very mild fragrance and doesn’t really last long. After an hour or so, it will fade away.
Results: In a few days, my split ends started getting normal and they were no longer dry now. After using it for 4-5 times, they were again amazing. But the serum only covered my split-ends; it did not help in making my hair long and strong. Actually, I did not have high hopes or expectations from Garnier for long & strong hair. After all, it is mainly for detangling hair and to put a stop on split-ends which it did for me.
Overall performance of Garnier Fructis Strengthening Serum
Many people claim that this hair serum didn’t grow their hair. I think that that’s an oil’s job and not serum’s. Anyway, I am thoroughly satisfied with the results by Garnier Fructis’ hair serum and won’t rave about it so much.
Pros:
- Smoothes hair without heaviness
- Detangles unruly hair
- Help prevent breakage and split ends
- Affordable
- Adds extra shine to hair
- Mild smell
Cons:
- Does not make hair long
- Not meant for dry hair
Would I repurchase/recommend it?
Yes, I will recommend it to you if you have dry hair with split ends. But do not get your hopes higher , that it will grow your hair. I will repurchase it in future if I again face such problem.
Take Care!
