Hey you all! Today I will be sharing my thoughts with you regarding a hair product that I have used for a while now. We all are so particular about our hair just like we are so particular about our food. Well, we should be very particular about both of these things as food affects our health and health affects our hair. I used to have really bad hair when I was younger because I never really took care of my hair like I do now. Let me tell you a little secret, I only recently started eating eggs just to grow out my hair and to improve it’s quality…:3 I have experimented a lot with hair products from shampoos to serums. I never really used serums but only started after seeing YouTube videos and know the function of it and how it benefits. I have dry and frizzy hair and the main thing I look for when I want to purchase a serum is that it should tame frizziness and nowadays you can find a lot of serums in the market that claims to control frizz. But really there are only few that work genuinely. Along with taming frizz, I look for the serum to moisturize the end dries off my hair.
I have been using Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum for quite a while now and it has helped me to a certain extent to combat frizziness and dryness. It contains avocado and grapeseed oil and avocado is really good for your hair and body. You can use avocado for natural DIY hair mask for moisturizing effects. I have tried once or twice but I didn’t work for me well.

How to apply: All you have to do is, squeeze some product out on your palm and rub it together to heat it a bit and apply it on the lengths of your hair and do not apply near the scalp area. You can apply it on wet hair as well as dry which is what I do mostly; after washing hair and then every day till I wash my hair next.

My Experience with Matrix Biolage 6 in 1 Smooth Proof Deep smoothing Serum
- PACKAGING: The product comes in a yellow/orange color plastic bottle with white cap and you need to tilt the bottle to get the product out in your palms. The packaging is very basic but colorful. It highlights the effects of the serum on the front.
- SMELL: There is no smell to it, maybe a slight oil smell but nothing overwhelming for your hair and nose.
- Effects: The after effects of the serum are just like any other serum, nothing too big of a difference. It doesn’t fight humidity for my hair and fails to defrizz my hair.
Overall performance of Matrix Biolage 6 in 1 Smooth Proof Deep smoothing Serum
Overall I have had a satisfactory experience with this product, nothing too extraordinary that you are missing out on. But it does do what it claims; it does slightly smooths out my hair but doesn’t moisturize my dry ends much, only for some time.Pretty average I would say.
Would I recommend it or repurchase?
It is a product that you can try if you want or pass out if you want. I would not want to repurchase this same serum again and rather try other natural serums.
