Maybelline Pop of Pink Creamy Matte Lipstick: This is a subtle but dusty kind of a pink shade, the texture of the lipstick is creamy matte, I would say that the stay of it is 3-4 hours approximately, you can wear it for light occasions, as a simple get together or over a coffee, I wear it to my office, you can wear it if you team it up with the correct kind of makeup.

Two-three swipes will give you the correct coverage, it does not dry your lips, and even if it gets off, the little pink stain on your lips will not look awkward, but there might be some fine lines though.

The lipstick comes in a black matte plastic tube, the name of the shade would be mentioned at the bottom. The cap is tight enough, so u don’t need to worry about that at all. I like the packaging!

How to Use:

It is in a normal twist- up packaging so the usage is pretty simple. As it is creamy matte and less of a harsh matte one you need 2-3 applications of it. I would say that I personally love the taste of the lipstick as it smells nice. It adds up a nice texture to your lips.

 

 

My Experience with Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick Pop of Pink

Well, my experience with this one has been good. The staying power in almost 3-4hours..the pigmentation is good, the texture is creamy matte making it suitable for the lips. The good part is that it does not dry out and rarely transfers. The shade is different from the usual pinks, it has a fun to the pink, a dusty tone of pink, carry it with the right kind of makeup or you may look washed out.

You can wear it for simple occasions as it is not a very bright color. I love the pleasant smell of it. I would again like to mention that the shade is more suitable for fair and wheatish skin tones, it will not suit the darker skin tones.

Yes, I would recommend this shade because it’s just different from the other pink tones, and we must never stop experimenting!. The shade is a yes yes for me. Try the other shades as well!
