Who is it for? Maybelline Hot Chocolate Lipstick 312 is for all those who are looking for a brown chocolaty shade with a touch of maroon in a lipstick with a budget-friendly price and a good brand.

Direction to use:

just open the lid and rotate the stick from the bottom in the right direction and glide on the lipstick over your lips evenly.

My experience with Maybelline Hot Chocolate Lipstick 312

Shade:

The lipstick has a brown chocolate shade with a slight hint of maroon. It is a very beautiful shade for all the ladies who love to wear brown lipsticks. Personally, I gifted it to my mother on mother’s day as she loves to wear brown colored lip shades.

texture and feel:

The application is super smooth and the texture of the lipstick is really creamy and just one stroke is enough to get that right color on the lips. It feels very smooth and light on lips as only one stroke is required. It doesn’t dry up lips and keeps them soft.

Staying power:

It has an average staying power as can stay for up to 2-3 hours but it gets really light in color if you are sweating constantly. It needs to be reapplied in order to maintain the pigment.

Fragrance:

It really doesn’t have a very strong fragrance like all other lipsticks have but its fragrance isn’t pleasant as well. Its fragrance doesn’t bother much anyways.

Packaging:

This lipstick comes in a black bullet with a strip of the characteristic color of the shade of the lipstick in the middle of the bullet. It is compact and hence, travel-friendly. It can melt a bit in summers though.

As I mentioned I bought it for my mother and she really loved the shade and the pigmentation of the lipstick. So, I would love to recommend this lipstick to all those who love to wear brown color and needs great pigmentation with a pocket-friendly price. I would love to buy this again for my mother.
