Who is it for? The Maybelline Color Show Creamy Matte Lipstick – Firecracker Red is for all those lovely ladies who love a bright red color with orange undertones.

How to use?

Exfoliate and prime your lips with a lip scrub and a lip balm. Use a lip liner close to the shade of the lipstick to outline your lips. Apply the lipstick directly on to the lips.

My experience with Maybelline Firecracker Red Lipstick

Packaging – 

The packaging of these lipsticks is pretty basic. The lipstick comes wrapped in a plastic. The black body of the lipstick is matte to represent the creamy matte range of the brand.

Texture –

The brand says that the lipsticks are soft matte, but I find them more on the satin side. They are extremely creamy and soft to apply.

Colour and Pigmentation – 

On first look, the color of the lipstick looks a little on the orange side, but after application, it looks a very beautiful red. The pigmentation is amazing and it looks amazing on the lips.

Fragrance – 

The product has a mild, sweet fragrance but the fragrance of the product is barely noticeable after application.

Staying Power –

 The lipsticks stay put on the lips for about 3-4 hours, given you are not having meals. With meals, I believe it will last only 2 hours. The staying power is average.

Experience – 

Although I love super matte lipsticks, this one doesn’t disappoint. I love how smoothly it glides on the lips and doesn’t dry out the lips one bit. It is compact and easy to carry. The shade is so pretty and would look good on anyone.

3. Pigmentation is amazing!
4. Doesn’t dry out the lips
5. No patchy look
6. Creamy matte so can be worn by anyone
